"For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them." Matthew 18:20
Collective worship is very important to us at Holy Trinity. It is a special time when we come together every day to reflect on the spiritual dimension to our lives. Our aim is to make collective worship relevant and engaging so that it makes a difference to our children's development in exploring 'life in all its fullness' (John 10:10).
We talk to our church, the adults in school and our children about the themes we have in collective worship. We link our themes to the church year, to our Christian values, to major events happening in the world and other opportunities to explore life's 'big questions'. Collective worship is planned and led by a range of adults from school and church. We also have a pupil 'worship group' that plans and leads acts of worship as well as evaluating its impact. There are plenty of opportunities for families to join us in worship. We regularly hold praise worship in church on a Friday afternoon, celebrate major events in the church calendar and have family worship led by each class. Please do join us and watch out in our newsletter or for texts inviting families to join us. For more information go to our policies page and see our collective worship policy.
Please have a look at our themes for this term. Any suggestions for future themes would be gratefully received!
