Holy Trinity Choir, comprising pupils from years 3,4,5 and 6 , together with Mrs Harris and Mrs Hannah, were very busy singing last week. Visiting local (and not so local) rest and care homes, they have enjoyed singing for the residents. Judging by the reponses we have received, everyone has thoroughly enjoyed it and the children have enjoyed the opportunity to talk to the old people.
We are always pleased to receive e-mails and letters from the places visited - an extract from the one received from Lakeside is reproduced below.
The main thing I am writing to say is how polite they all were! I raced down the street to give them a little treat as I had missed them leaving and each and every one of the said thank you. Great ambassadors for your school. It may have come across our residents where disinterested but to a keen eye, I can't say how much a foot tap or a few words mean to a normally lost soul. Thanks again , fab kids!!
