The uniform consists of a simple and inexpensive style of clothing:
Girls: Blue blouse or polo shirt
Grey skirt or trousers (not leggings, joggers or fashion bootleg)
White socks or tights
Gingham blue and white dress (Summer Term)
Smart, sensible black shoes (no heels)
Boys: Blue polo Shirt
Grey trousers or shorts (not joggers)
smart, sensible black shoes.
(As long as there are NO coloured stripes or flashes, completely black training shoes are acceptable)
Indoor: All children are to wear:
Pumps (not trainers for safety reasons). Pump bags are available at the school office for £1.70.
White t-shirt (or school t-shirt)
Navy blue shorts
Outdoor: For outdoor PE the children should wear: PE Kit and Trainers, (Tracksuit/joggers and sweatshirt when weather is cold).
Swimming: They are required to have a suitable swimming costume (ie trunks for boys, NOT Bermuda Shorts; costume for girls NOT a bikini), towel, swimming cap and comb/brush. We ask that they bring these to school in either a carrier bag or separate sports bag.
Jewellery: In the interest of safety we ask that your child does not wear jewellery in school. Necklaces, rings, hoop ear-rings, bracelets etc can present a hazard in physical activities. The only exceptions to the rule are watches and ear studs. Small stud ear-rings may be worn in school but must be removed for PE, games and swimming lessons. We feel that this ‘rule’ is in the best interests of the children as a number of injuries have been caused in other schools and we would not like this to occur at Holy Trinity.
