Values for Life is a resource to support our school in promoting the teaching of our Christian values. It provides opportunities to promote the teaching of values through:

• A range of questions to help the whole school community reflect on each value
• Collective worship plans to raise awareness of each aspect of the value
• Bible stories that are relevant to the theme
• Stories from world faiths, which illustrate the value
• Suggestions of well known children’s texts which reinforce the value
• Ways in which subjects in the curriculum support understanding of the value in concrete situations
